Unicode flip text
Upside Down Text Generator
Choose copyable Unicode look-alikes or an exact 180-degree visual flip. The exact preview rotates every rendered letter, digit, punctuation mark, and emoji and can be downloaded as PNG.
Copyable Unicode versus an exact flip
Upside-down Unicode reverses grapheme clusters and substitutes
supported letters, so Hello 123! becomes similar to
¡321 ollǝH. Exact upside-down preview instead rotates
the rendered original by 180 degrees. That geometric path is
reliable for digits and other glyphs because it does not depend on
finding a look-alike Unicode character.
Known limitations
| Input type | Expected behavior |
|---|---|
| Basic Latin letters | Most common letters have a readable substitute. |
| Numbers and punctuation | Unicode mode keeps digits readable; exact visual mode rotates their actual rendered shapes. |
| Emoji and flags | Unicode mode keeps them intact but unchanged; exact visual mode rotates or reflects them with the rest of the preview. |
| Non-Latin scripts | Usually unchanged unless a specific look-alike is mapped. |
| Receiving app fonts | Some apps may show boxes if their font lacks the symbol. |
| Copy and download | Plain-text copy cannot retain geometry. Download PNG preserves the exact visual transform for inputs up to 10,000 graphemes. |
